About Us

 

Caked Cupcake Boutique was founded by Jammie & Shane Ross in September 2010.  Jammie left a 10-year career in the field of healthcare insurance billing, fusing her management background with her cake-decorating talents to fulfill her passion for all things cake. 

 

After decorating cakes for approximately 15 years, in 2007, Jammie began to develop a clientele, developing her skills through creations made for friends and family. 

 

Though she enjoyed working in the medical field, her passion for business ownership within the world of cakes and celebrations was undying, leading her to open a cupcake boutique on Albuquerque’s west side in the fall of 2010.

Shane is the General Manager for Pei Wei Asian diner on Coors & Ellison Blvd, and lends his valuable operations and management expertise to Caked in addition to working at Pei Wei.
